Vonka Village – Peaceful Lapland by the Tornio River

Vonka Village is located in Finnish Lapland, in the beautiful Matkakoski area by the Tornio River. Surrounded by peaceful nature and away from city lights, our two cosy cottages offer the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the silence and experience authentic Lapland.

Villa Vonka – for up to 6 guests

Villa Vonka accommodates up to six people. Downstairs, there is one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs, you will find two additional single beds.

Villa Vaara – for up to 4 guests

Villa Vaara accommodates up to four people. The upstairs loft has a double bed and one single bed, while the sofa downstairs can be converted into a 140 cm wide bed. Villa Vaara also features a cosy fireplace – perfect for winter evenings.

Your own piece of Lapland

Both cottages have a well-equipped kitchen and a private sauna, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. From the cottages and terraces, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Tornio River and the surrounding northern landscape.

Guests also have free access to the traditional barbecue hut and riverside shelter – perfect for spending time outdoors, enjoying a fire and experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of Lapland.

Here, you can simply enjoy the silence, nature and time together.
