Guided Village Sauna - Sauna Experience With the Locals

The Village Sauna is a truly authentic and unique sauna experience together with the locals! The smoke sauna is open for public twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. around the year. The guided Village Sauna is ideal for solo travelers or small groups.

Linnakallio’s smoke sauna offers a timeless Finnish sauna experience in the heart of nature, surrounded by a private forest area. Just a few steps from the sauna, a clear forest pond awaits. Swimming in the cool, natural water is both refreshing and calming. In winter, the experience becomes unforgettable – even a brief dip in the icy pond leaves you feeling awake and energized. Your host will gently guide you through this new experience.

Some practical information: The Village Sauna is open for public and visited by locals and travelers alike. There are separate dressing rooms for men and women, while the sauna itself and the outdoor cooling areas are shared. Own swimwear is required. Please note that there are no showers. A small amount of washing water is provided, but swimming in the forest pond is the primary way to cool off and rinse between and after sauna rounds. There is an outdoor toilet available near the sauna area.

Price includes sauna visit with a local sauna guide, swimming in the forest pond and introduction to the cold dip in winter, towels and non-alcoholic sauna drinks.
