Hosting and Destination Coordination at the Arctic Coast of Finland (Kalajoki)

We are Helena and Sanna, two local hosts and destination specialists based on Finland’s Arctic Coast. All year round, we create and host authentic experiences rooted in local life, nature, and culture — from smoke saunas and icy dips to story walks by the sea and guided visits to coastal villages.

In addition to traveler-facing experiences, we support tour operators and DMCs as destination coordinators and local specialists. Based in Kalajoki, we offer up-to-date local knowledge, trusted networks, and on-site support — acting as a reliable local extension of your team.

Our services are flexible and always tailored to your itinerary and needs. Support can include, for example:
• Sourcing and coordinating trusted local service providers and suppliers for tour packaging and production
• Pre-visits and site inspections to ensure services meet your guests’ expectations
• Welcoming guests in Kalajoki or elsewhere, including airport or railway station meet & greet and assistance with transfers
• Guiding and sharing local stories and practical information during transfers or as a standalone service
• Acting as your on-site contact before, during, and after the tour
• Destination coordination and hosting for bus tours and group itineraries
• Tour leader service for bus tours in Finland or even along the Bothnian Coastal Route

PRICE: 65,00 euros per hour (minimum 2 hours) or 400,00 euros per day (max 8 hours). Or as agreed.

PRICE INCLUDES: A reliable and multi-talented local host at your desposal for requested service or activity. To be agreed separately: Travel-related costs (use of own car, per diems, etc.).
