Oulu Delta SUP Boarding Safari (Private)

In Oulu, we are fortunate to have the sea and the Oulu River Delta, which provide stunning and sheltered routes for stand up paddle boarding. This safari invites you to explore Oulu from a completely new perspective – balancing on your board and gliding across the water.Our adventure begins at our Nallikari Experience Center, located right by the Nallikari seaside in the basement of the Nallikari Aalto hotel building, at Nallikarinranta 10. The safari is conducted safely under the guidance of our knowledgeable and experienced guides. Before stepping onto the boards, you will be introduced to the basics of stand up paddle boarding, and we will go through all the necessary safety instructions so you can enjoy your trip worry-free. The SUP boards we use are wide and stable, making them easy to balance on and suitable for beginners.

The route offers both natural beauty and cultural landmarks, as the safari takes you from Nallikari through the scenic Mustasalmi channel into the diverse landscapes of the Oulu River Delta. While gliding on your SUP board, we will navigate around the numerous islands scattered across the delta. Nallikari serves as one of the official starting points of the Oulu River Delta paddling route.
